

The slow burn between Maya and Skye was my EVERYTHING. The way he spoke around them spoke volumes about his characterization and made it incredibly easy to side with Maya and Skye about what a terrible human being he is. Since our POV characters were Maya and Skye, we only saw Jordy through his interactions with them. The dialogue was consistently incredible, and it was a great tool used for characterization, especially with Jordy. From the jump, the dialogue was witty and had me actually laughing out loud, which is rare for me to do with books. This book captured my heart in every way.
